15 Units of FAW J6F 8-Ton Fuel Tanker Trucks Shipped to Nigeria by CLW Group

SUIZHOU, China – CLW Group, a leading Chinese manufacturer of specialized vehicles, has successfully completed the delivery of 15 units of FAW J6F 4x2 fuel tanker trucks destined for Nigeria. The shipment departed from the company's manufacturing facility in Suizhou, reinforcing the growing partnership between Chinese specialized vehicle manufacturers and Nigeria's downstream petroleum sector.

Advanced Chassis Configuration for Hazardous Transport

The exported vehicles are built on FAW J6F flat-top single-row cabins equipped with air conditioning, ensuring driver comfort during long-haul operations. Each unit is powered by a 180HP diesel engine compliant with Euro VI emission standards, supplied by either Deutz or Weichai Power-both renowned for reliability and fuel efficiency in demanding environments.

The powertrain features an 8-speed manual gearbox coupled with an exhaust brake system, providing superior control during descents and reducing brake wear. The braking system incorporates air brakes with front disc brakes and ABS, meeting the stringent safety requirements for hazardous material transportation.

A 340G welded rear axle with 7-ton capacity and 3900mm wheelbase ensures stability even when fully loaded. The electrical system includes 24V dual batteries with both electromagnetic and manual power switches, while a standard speed limiter ensures compliance with hazardous cargo transport regulations.

Tanker Body Designed for Durability

Each tanker features a 9.8 cubic meter single-compartment tank constructed from Q235B carbon steel, with 4.2mm thickness for the tank body and 4.5mm for the head. This robust construction ensures longevity even under challenging road conditions typical of West African logistics routes.

Standard equipment includes a rear ladder for access, manual guardrails, a toolbox, and side and rear protective bars-enhancing both functionality and safety during loading and unloading operations.

Comprehensive Safety and Compliance

The vehicles meet 2023 New Safety Standards for hazardous liquid transport, incorporating dual warning systems including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Lane Departure Warning (LDWS). Additional safety features include GPS tracking and dual warning alerts, providing fleet operators with real-time monitoring capabilities.

Each unit ships with complete documentation, including chassis certificate, vehicle certificate, and registration invoice, ensuring smooth importation and registration processes for Nigerian customers.

Applications and Customization

These 8-ton fuel tankers are ideally suited for fuel logistics, gas station supply, and industrial oil transportation across Nigeria. CLW Group offers customization options to meet specific operational requirements, demonstrating the company's commitment to serving diverse market needs.
