CLW GROUP, China – CLW Group, through its Weiyu Truck division, has announced the export of 26 units of the FAW J6P 6x6 heavy-duty truck to markets in West Africa. This shipment, tailored for harsh operating environments, includes a diverse range of specialized vehicles designed to support infrastructure, energy logistics, and construction sectors across the region.

 

The order comprises six 20-cubic-meter fuel tankers (20,000L), seven 25-cubic-meter fuel tankers (25,000L), six 20-cubic-meter vacuum sewage trucks, and six 12-ton crane trucks,1 unit of 6x6 25000 liters stainless steel drinking water transport truck. Each vehicle is built on the robust FAW J6P 6x6 chassis, which has been engineered specifically for the demanding terrains of the African continent, including desert tracks and muddy construction sites.

Built for African Terrains: The FAW J6P 6x6 Advantage

At the core of this export is the FAW J6P African Edition 6x6 chassis, a platform celebrated for its exceptional off-road capability and resilience. Designed to conquer the toughest landscapes, the chassis features a left-hand drive configuration and meets E2 emission standards.

 

Key specifications of the 6x6 chassis include:

Engine: Powered by the Xichai CA6DM2-39E3F (390 HP) engine with built-in EGR, providing the high torque necessary for heavy loads and rough terrain

 

Transmission & Drivetrain: Equipped with a CA10TAX190F gearbox and a Zhuzhou Gear ZQC2000 transfer case, featuring a spline output PTO, ensuring reliable power distribution to all six wheels.

 

Axles & Suspension: Built with an F7D-2020 front axle and a ф300 cast steel wheel reduction rear axle (with automatic adjusters), complemented by a 9/12 leaf spring suspension. The configuration supports a wheelbase of 4800+1450MM.

 

Off-Road Tires: Fitted with massive 14.00R20 20-ply single tires for superior flotation and grip on soft ground.

 

Desert-Ready Features: The vehicle is outfitted with a desert air filter, an aluminum radiator, a 400L aluminum fuel tank, and a complete set of spark arresters and grounding straps for safety in volatile environments.

 

Durability: The chassis boasts a reinforced frame (30080(8+8)) and a new J6P African Edition full-floating tilting cab with mechanical vibration-damping seats, designed to reduce driver fatigue during long operations in remote areas.

Fuel Transport & Refueling

The shipment includes six 20,000L and six 25,000L fuel tankers. Built with 5mm carbon steel bodies and heads, the tanks are divided into 4 or 5 compartments (5,000L each), with volume markings on both sides. Each compartment is fitted with aluminum manhole covers (with breather valves), pneumatic bottom valves, and French-type unloading interfaces. The vehicles are equipped with an aluminum pump system, a domestic flow meter, and complete rear ladders and top guardrails.

Sanitation Solutions

6 units of 20-cubic-meter vacuum sewage trucks are included to support urban sanitation and industrial waste management needs.

 

Loading & Logistics

The order also features six 12-ton crane trucks, equipped with the renowned XCMG SQS300 M-series dual-pump crane. This 12-ton, 4-section boom crane includes hydraulic single-cylinder rear outriggers for stability. The cargo box measures 8,000x2,300x600mm, featuring a straight-through auxiliary frame and a heavy-duty floor (5mm bottom plate, 3mm side plates) reinforced with 5mm checkered plate.
