Many remote villages and suburban areas in Africa lack fixed LPG stations. Residents with empty 5kg or 12.5kg cooking gas cylinders often have to travel long distances to the city to refill them. The LPG Bobtail acts as a "mobile gas station," traveling on a regular schedule into these villages, local markets, or residential communities.

In major African cities (such as in Egypt, South Africa, or Nigeria), there is a massive volume of ride-hailing cars, taxis, and minibuses running on LPG. To save drivers from wasting time queuing at fixed stations, taxi associations or fleet companies purchase these Bobtail trucks for direct supply.

Local industries (such as factories operating LPG forklift fleets), large hotels, resorts, school cafeterias, hospitals, and commercial bakeries usually install small-to-medium fixed LPG storage tanks (1 to 5 tons) on their premises.

Many traditional fuel stations along highways or in newly developed remote areas cannot afford the high civil construction costs or long permit processes required to build underground LPG tanks or fixed skid stations, yet they do not want to miss out on the growing gas market.
